Laura Scott owns and runs North East Custom Apparel with the wonderful help of her husband Kevin. The idea began when the company that printed the spirit wear for the school Laura works for decided to close. Laura and her coworker had begun designing a shirt each year to raise funds for their school. When their printing source for the t-shirts closed, it sparked an idea. Maybe she could do it.  A company idea began to form. Laura and her husband Kevin owned a hair studio for many years and they designed and screen printed the shirts for their staff and really enjoyed the whole process. It has now evolved into a full fledge business. 
The name North East came from the fact that Laura is from North East Kansas and Kevin is from North East England. They are both very proud of where they come from and it just seemed to fit.
